The Alpena City Band, founded in 1918 and one of Alpena's premier instrumental performing groups, is a community-centered organization committed to providing entertainment for area residents. The band's concert season extends weekly from June through August, with special events on Independence Day and various other occasions.

The Alpena City Band Needs YOU!

The Alpena City Band is looking for members to fill out our roster! We are especially looking for people who play the following instruments: flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and percussion. All high school students and adults are welcome to join at any time; grades 7-8 are welcome with director permission.
